Canvas printing is the art of printing images or your photos on to canvas these are often framed or if cheaper the canvas may be placed on to a piece of card or hard backing to keep it stretched the art of canvas printing has been around for a long time for many years it was mainly used for reproducing art work for sale on a large a scale like replicated works of art and famous paintings we see to buy all over the place printed on canvas the idea was that everyone should be able to buy beautiful works of art whoever you are and whatever you do and it is a great idea everyone should be able to have a great work of art hanging in there own homes and that was one of the main reasons for canvas artwork becoming more main stream and seen in our high street shops all over Europe it was also and still is a great way for artists that want to sell their work on a big scale for instance if it wasn?t for canvas photo printing if a artist painted as painting and wanted to reproduce it for sale and they get orders for twenty or so prints the artist would have to paint the same picture over and over again making sure it was a exact copy of the original and this would be very hard to replicate over and over again and would take a considerable amount of time and so the artist would never get anywhere with this technique and so would be better off just painting one offs and selling them as originals and this is a strange thing as I am all for one off original works of art over reproduced paintings that will end up on every ones wall but at the same time I think it would be a real shame for all of the people that would love a copy of that print and the artist that would like to make a business off of selling his or her work on a large scale but thanks to canvas printing that is no issue a artist can paint one picture and have it printed exactly like the original as many times as they need to and the copies can be produced very quickly so much faster than trying to replicate the picture by hand and because you are getting them printed on a large scale you will get great savings from the manufacturer and those savings can be passed on to you the customer so every ones a winner you get a work of art that you can admire in your own home for a great low or reasonable price and the artist get to keep producing great works of art. These days canvas prints are everywhere and there are more things you can do wit6hn a canvas print the price of canvas printing has come down a lot over the years because there are a lot of companies selling canvas prints so this is great for anybody that wants to buy a canvas print and instead of buying reproduced works of art a lot of people are having their own photos printed on to canvas or even your own art work fancy yourself as a artist well they say you?re not a artist until someone pays you to be so why not have some of your own work printed and see if it sell it could be a whole new start as a artist instead of a hobby.
