Bianna Golodryga's work includes the opinions of the couple's closest friends from college, who witnessed the beginning of their relationship. The interviews will be aired on a BBC America documentary and have provided very interesting details about the couple that have never before been published. After meeting at the University of Saint Andrews in Scotland, where they both attended college, William and Kate became great friends. Eventually, this friendship turned romantic and the pair have been linked together since 2001. The four years that they spent together at the University were free from the pressures of living in the spotlight, and this enabled them to truly get to know one another in an ordinary fashion. Unfortunately for the couple this very well could have been the first and last opportunity for them to live outside of the prying eyes of the general public, but Bianna Golodryga's report reveals that friends are sure that even when thrust into the rigors of belonging to the royal family Kate will conduct herself with poise and be capable of handling any of the stress that her new position in life entails. Kate was a waitress at The Doll's House Restaurant not far from school and she and William spent a lot of their time hanging out at a nearby pub. A close friend of the couple, Justin Hughes, commented that Kate did not wear flashy clothes or work hard to catch William's attention. According to Hughes, the couple was just your ordinary boyfriend and girlfriend who got along quite well and enjoyed one another's company. Bianna Golodryga's use of interviews from the couple's friends reveal that Kate was the kind of girl who caught everyone's attention, not just the Prince's, because of her sparkling personality and well mannered behavior. Rachel Humphreys, a classmate, said that Kate was an attractive, popular, and well behaved woman. Why wouldn't people be interested in her?
