You can hire a boat for a few hours, for a day, or for a whole week. These boats are suitable for people of all ages, and no previous experience is necessary. One of the most popular options is a motor cruiser. These come in varying sizes, with fully equipped galleys and comfortable berths so that they are ideal for a day out as well as for a whole week?s holiday.

Wildlife of the Broads

The Broads is a National Park and includes several nature reserves. However, it is a haven for wildlife and you are likely to spot animals and birds wherever you go. There are lots of places to visit while you are on the Broads. In the National Park itself you can explore the villages and towns, and eat in friendly local pubs. There are many historic churches here too, including St Helens at Ranworth ? known as the ?Cathedral of the Broads? ? where you can climb up the tower for splendid views. You can also take a trip on the Bure Valley steam railway.

Further afield, you can visit the interesting cathedral city of Norwich for sightseeing, shopping and restaurants. For a family day out, you can enjoy the amusements at the seaside town of Great Yarmouth. Wherever you go in the Broads, you will find plenty to keep you entertained.
